Review MacBook Air 13 in 2014
Is the 13-inch MacBook Air 2014 what? It' an extremely easy upgrade to MacBook Air 2013. MacBook Air 2014 has been given a small boost from 1.3GHz to 1.4GHz by Apple, but the look, feel, and basics the same. For MacBook Air to stay the industry benchmark for ultra-portable laptop computers, or is the absence of the coveted enhanced display upgrade a too wide marking?
It' an arguement that will undoubtedly continue to rampage for a while, but the MacBook Air is still a difficult one to discuss. MacBook Air's fundamental styling hasn't really improved in a few years, but we're still not sure if a competitor has finally defeated it. It' a classic bit of styling.
It' s one of the best things about all Mac notebooks, where its large footprint, smooth interface, and tidy gestures make MacBook Air a pleasure to use. The MacBook Pro vs. the MacBook Air: MacBook Air's display, on the other hand, is nothing more than a "future-looker. It' not exactly nasty, but it's certainly not more than enough and quite a bit behind what we would want from a notebook at this low cost and one with Apple's emblem on it.
Mr President, the discussion on the motion for a resolution is actually a kind of diversion. Presumably, a retro display has gone too far for reasons of price and power (it would make MacBook Air more expensive and probably significantly shorten the battery life), and the 16:10 display (1,440 x 900) means that switching to a 1080p display that can compete with the competition would require a redesign.
1,900 x 1,200 would be the best solution, but we assume that Apple can't find anyone to make such a display at a sensible cost. However, as far as resolutions are concerned, we think this works well at this scale - it's a sensible balance between useful room, legibility and clarity.
We' d like more, but the display is more than just resolving, and it's in these areas that the MacBook Air really does disappoint. That' s evident in video where the MacBook looks a little washed-out compared to better monitors and has no detail in shaded, murky shots. That means that black people look "grayer" on the MacBook than competitors.
Color precision is sufficient and an illiterate human will not be dissapointed by what he sees every single minute of the week, but it will let you down if you put more emphasis on display faithfulness. In fact, MacBook Air is quite suitable for a brightly lit notebook with a shiny surface, which is supported by the absence of an additional coating, as is the case with many Windows competitors.
And as always, MacBook Air loudspeakers always ring a little better than you'd think. Like every notebook of this magnitude, they don't have some low end and they're best when you're actually sitting on the monitor (going to the other side of the room and things seem chaotic), but there's a good amount of middle class that's plenty for easygoing.
