One of the most popular websites that is always looking for cheap rates is them. You have a monthly email but until you receive it, some of the rates are gone so you have to visit their website often. You are targeting running junkie who are looking for the best rates so they can maximise their mileage but each traveller will find their informationaluable.

It was founded by a 22-year-old high-flyer from New York, and you probably learned about the place when United and Orbitz took him to court. So why were the carriers so angry about ski-plagged? It is because the website shows how to find lower tariffs with a policy known for years as "hidden city" ticket sales....

Buying tens of seats a year and only once did I come closer to the "hidden city" approach, and that's when I had to come from L.A. to Cleveland and all the one-way seats had a price of $600! Then I found a $230 Buffalo fare (200 mile away ) that first held in Cleveland on exactly the same $600 plane.

It makes no business, I know, because Buffalo is further away from Cleveland and you have to take two instead of one, but the airline companies do it to rival other airline companies. A competitor must have had a sales in Los Angeles to Buffalo, so they must have quoted the same prize to survive the competition.

Theoretically I could have got a one-way pass from LA to Buffalo and just got off at Cleveland and wasted my connection to BUF, but that would have been against the airlines guidelines and I didn't want to take the chance of loosing all my points. If I had, I would have just gotten a one-way pass and been careful not to give up any pockets or enter my frequent flyer number.

And I would make sure that I was one of the first on the airplane, because if there hadn't been free upside down, I would have been compelled to inspect my pocket at the gates to my ultimate location - and that would have been a bottleneck. Once the airline companies get you, you have a good shot of loosing all your mileage and possibly even having to pay a price differential.
