commercial licencing

There are two kinds of commercial licences offered by the city. The annual commercial licence shall be granted for the whole year and shall expire on 31 December of the year in which it is granted. Licences shall be granted for the rest of the year and the following year if an applications is lodged in December.

There is no charge for non-profit companies with an IRS name of 501c3, 501c4 or 501c19 or for extra sites in the same city or for companies with a part-time job. SPL is a license granted to a individual or company that organizes or participates in a seven-day or less duration transient meeting.

Costs are $10.00 and end seven successive business days following the date of the game. At the end of the conference, the licence is concluded after receipt of the relevant income taxes. Companies that participate in more than one meeting may receive a specific licence for each meeting or opt for an one-year licence. Royalties are not accumulative or assignable to the costs of an one-year limited edition software licence.

Companies that are obliged to pay VAT are recorded in a VAT bank at the moment of request. Companies must also meet the Alaska State's professional permit requirement and may need to have an extra commercial permit with the State of Alaska, the Matanuska Susitna District and any other city or municipality where the company may conduct operations.
