Urban Red Taxi is a company that operates throughout Hong Kong, including Hong Kong Airport and Hong Kong Disneyland, (except Tung Chung Road and roads in South Lantau) New Territories Taxi. There are red taxis in almost all of Hong Kong, with the exception of the Tung Chung Road on Lantau Island and the entire south side of Lantau Island. The green taxis only serve the New Territories. Hong Kong cabs are all measured, relatively inexpensive, air-conditioned and pristine. There are three kinds of taxi, each of which is indicated by its colour: Rot for urban cabs, green for new areas, and blue for Lantau Island with additional fees from HK$1.2 to HK$1.7 for each additional 200m (depending on taxi type).
