Berlin, Cologne and Munich are nearby places to stay before they start a fast connection to Prague the next morning. From London to Prague you can collect your ticket for less than 100, excluding the costs of a short stop. Another option is to arrive by road.

It' s 800 nautical miles from London to Prague - a pretty long ride. On so many cheap Prague flights from Britain, traveling may not be the least expensive way to get to the Gold Town - but it is certainly the most adventure.
