South West sells low cost ticket, $49 one way

From now until 12 p.m. on Friday 18 May, Southwest Airlines is hosting a big ticket sales event. Sales include non-stop local ticket sales for journeys between 5 June and 31 October 2018. Reduced fares are available from $49 for one way or $98 for a round trip. Sales include several dozens of the most beloved tourist attractions in the southwest USA.

South West Airlines is maintaining a huge four-day rate sale, just in advance of daylight savings to get going. Starting today until Friday night at noon, the Dallas-based low-cost airline is selling seats for just US$49. It offers several dozens of the most sought-after southwestern vacation spots, such as Atlanta (ATL), Austin (AUS), Baltimore (BWI), Boston (BOS), Chicago (MDW), Dallas (DAL), Denver (DEN), Houston (HOU), Las Vegas (LAS), Los Angeles (LAX), New York (LGA), Washington D.C. (DCA) and many more.

One of the most outstanding offers includes $49 one-way ticket between Atlanta and Orlando or $98 return. You can also buy $49 for flights between Baltimore and Boston and Los Angeles and San Francisco. Of course, there are some small prints associated with the sales. Between purchase and 18 May at 23:59, all ticket must be in the original destination of the ticket.

Booking must be made at least 21 business days prior to departure. Sales include ticket for journey on national flights from 5 June to 31 October 2018. Sales price only for Tuesday and Wednesday flights. If you fly to and from San Juan, Puerto Rico, the discount is valid for flights from Monday to Thursday.

Frontier Airlines, the ultra-low-cost airline, last weeks started a two-day ticket sales campaign with only $29 per leg ticket, while its colleague ULCC Spirit offered a one-day 85% discount.

Any of these ultra-cheap flights currently available on Southwest can be purchased from August 22 to December 13, so if you're planning to travel by the end of the year, this could help you seriously cut your money.

Obviously there is some small printing on these cheap flights, plus the fact that fares are not on Fridays or Sundays, which is a little banal. Still, it's tough to turn up your nostrils on a 49-dollar flight.
