The Horry County Constabulary, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and the South Carolina Highway Patrol have put together a schedule to ensure smooth transportation in order to help the Myrtle Beach Department work. Parts of the King's Highway will be blocked for the air show. Friday, Saturday and Sunday the roads between Twenty Sixth Avenue South and Farrow Parkway will be blocked between 2.30 p.m. and 4.30 p.m. Drivers can drive on Ocean Boulevard and there will be roundabout signage.
Concerning The Market Common car parks, Crosby encourages car parkers to leave only in signposted areas. The two multi-storey car parks are open, most of them open to the general public. Please note that there are no car parks. Tickets for the flight show are available. When a passport is bought, participants can leave their cars at the airport.
There will be extra car parks at Fantasy Harbor and a shuttleservice. The barricades will be established at The Market Common to monitor the river of pedestrians, said Crosby.
