J&J Innovation LLC, New York State, and the New York Genome Center are working together to start a new JLABS in New York City that will open in June 2018. The JLABS @ NYC investment will be hosted at the New York Genome Center (NYGC) in Soho and will open in 2018.

Johnson & Johnson Innovation has created a QuickFire challenge for businesses in these areas, particularly for start-ups that are working on cross-industry approaches to preventing, preventing or curing disease. Winners will be known in June 2018 and are entitled to a one-year stay at JLABS @ NYC.
