Advantages and disadvantages of low cost flights

Inexpensive air traffic is not as fantastic as you might think, because it makes air traffic worse overall. You may believe it or not, but air traffic has also somewhat picked up. Air travel is more accessible than ever, which superficially seems to be a good thing. At the same time, we are complaining about a terrible air traffic congestion and overcrowded, congested air services, while much of the cause why air travel is now so bad is that carriers are struggling to keep up with low-cost competitive pressures to prevent insolvency.

New York Times has compiled a data-driven chart of the advantages and disadvantages of air travel and highlights these points. The positive thing about low-cost air travel, of course, is that low-cost companies like JetBlue and Spirit have compelled large companies like American Airways to decouple their own fare.

According to a report in the Journal of Economics & Management, when airline companies are unbundling tariffs and introducing charges, consumers are paying more for the same thing: "The evidence also suggests that the mean rate decreases by less than the pocket charge itself, so the full cost of a journey for those choosing to give up pockets increases... the 25% percentage rate decreases by about $7.00 when a pocket charge is introduced, which is about half to one third of the charge.

Consequently, it seems that the full travel cost for the recreational traveler increases by at least half of the pocket money when he or she gives up a pocket. However, non-bag checked recreational travellers profit from a lower tariff. Low -cost air travel makes travel more affordable for those who would not otherwise do so.

Plus, cracking figures reported by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, The New York Times: As a rule, air travel is more punctual, up to 80 per cent of the year. Airline companies are losing the overview of less baggage. Passenger prices for those who are "pushed" by their plane - because they are refused a place - have also sunk.

There were seven cases of mishandling of luggage per thousand in 2007. By 2016, this figure had fallen to less than three per thousand travellers, its highest since then. Although the latest figures are not the best indication, the number of increased travellers has also fallen. There were slightly more than 100 irregularities per million travellers in 2007, and now there are less than 75 per million.
