Macbook Air 14 Inch
14 inch Macbook AirApparently 14-inch monitors are more loved in Asia than in other parts of the world, so the release justifies the rumour. Currently, 14-inch panel are the common specifications of the Asian laptop computer industry, while customers in the West favor 15-inch model. On the world 14-inch model markets have a 20-25% slice of the pie, but in Asia the slice is about 35-40%, an indicator of Asian consumers' preference for 14-inch model markets, the so-called wells.
A 14-inch MacBook Air might seem a little ridiculous at first, but considering Apple shook us a few years ago with an 11-inch MacBook Air, anything is possible. However, does Apple really need to make a MacBook Air between the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air just to gain a bigger foothold in the Asia Pacific markets?
First of all, my response is that pricing would be a more important consideration than display sizes, which would mean that the 11-inch MacBook Air would be one of the most popular Apple notebooks in Asia. Will Apple adapt its production process to produce a 14-inch MacBook Air on 11-inch and 13-inch devices?

Recently I upgraded from an MBP 15'' to an MBA 13'' and I wish I had done it earlier. Being a scientist, I always had at least 10 pounds of text books in my rucksack at one go. Well, the 15''' RhBP is already quite lightweight and comes in at 4.5lbs. Macbook Air 13'' is 2.9lbs.
In all honesty, I can say that when you wear so many books a day, 1.6lbs makes a big deal of a difference. Combine that with the MBA' s amazingly good power delivery and you have a winning hand. I averaged a 3-5 hour run time on my RhBP (without changing the settings).
I have an average of at least 9 lessons for the MBA. That applies to essential use: e-mail, text editing, web browsing and stream videos. Designed for schools and work. Now I have a user -defined wallpaper for this kind of use. To connect this notebook to an outside display, you need to buy a thirunderbolt adaptor, which can be a nuisance - especially if you're doing frequent presentation work.
Overall, this is a great notebook for college kids or anyone with essential computer requirements. As a rule, mac-books last much longer than other notebooks.
