Multi Trip Flight Booking
e-ticketingHelp a Multi-City Jungfrau Flight Booking - Air Travel Forum
My prices were fixed with Epsedia for all my flight (09 May) and I was given £429 including tax. According to the expedia.com review, I was given about $550, although the outward flight to SanFran involved a stop in Minneapolis. Shall I choose to stay away from a particular airline? This is the first attempt I've made to make to a multi-city trip and I would appreciate any comments.
It either sound like a really good prize for me, I know socketone who just bought 450 or so for a UK-SFO flight back this past week, and that' without any stops like you do. Failure of the International Maritime Organisation (IME) to comply with the airline's regulations (e.g.) prevents Europeans from booking on a US website. Nevertheless 429 seems good to me so if you can't get it at $550, would I say go for the 429. p. S that the carriers are?
I have actually booked trips from a wide range of gateway companies around the globe (organizing a trip for a conference) to Portland Oregon with stays in various US towns for next year' s flight season. However, you should make your booking directly with the carrier. Unless I saved several hundred bucks and was completely sure that I would keep everything they gave me, I agreed to make a booking directly with the carrier.
Take care to take your pick between planes. Only because they are booking you something doesn't mean there is enough for you. I' ve checked Expedia.com again and it seems that you are right - a news item says that only US residents can buy a flight. Concerning the offers from expedia.co. uk; I was asking myself which carrier would be the best and whether traveling to or from Newark is better than JFK?
There was a billboard suggesting booking with the carriers, but I was offered by Virgin and BA for this route at cheap rates. Unless I saved several hundred bucks and was completely sure that I would keep everything they gave me, I agreed to make a direct booking with the carrier. Take care to take your pick between planes.
Only because they are booking you something doesn't mean there is enough for you. Virgin booking system is not able to only allow reservations on their own flight and those on which they share codes. There are many non-stop choices between San Francisco and New York; American Airlines (which roll out the web on board their 762 or Boeing 767-200 flights) or United Airlines (with 35" pitches in economy) are the best of both.
So I like Continental, but I have no Virgin etc experiences. Well, good luck with your trip. I would choose virgin for all things that are the same, but they are not, so I would use BA to go from T5, which is good nowadays, as opposed to the dirty confusion that is T3 that would be used with either Virgin or Continental (AFAIK).
Accidentally cleared a few words, second try; All things alike I'd select Virgin, but they're not, so I'd vote BA to prevent the New York airports from changing, plus with BA you're also flying out of T5, which is good by all the accounts these days, unlike the dirty confusion that's T3 you'd use with either Virgin or Continental.
Booking directly with the airline companies. When booking for your flight back to JFK with Alaska Airline, you should be able to have your pockets screened because Alaska Codeshare with BA. Please make sure you have enough free space for the call. The MCT ( Min. connection times ) is the exact amount that airline companies propose at major airport locations.
Take more unplanned hours for unexpected situations and you may have an additional lesson on the departures, but it's better to have the additional coffee making hours than running like the breeze to get to the door and see the door close. Really I think it's too early to be booking so early next May - the sell will appear after New Year and the odds are good that you could be saving $.
It is a good carrier, but not as good as BA or Virgin. I' m very fond of Alaska Airlines. It is possible to specify several destinations and to indicate your carrier selection on this website (non-bidding).
