A World Airlines around the worldUse Qantas points for circumnavigating the world: on-eworld Classic Awards
get more Australian airline points. Most Qantas frequently travelers would normally use their points to cash in rewards for one-way trips to Europe, the United States, Asia or home. There is, however, a very low-cost point redeeming scheme that allows up to 15 Qantas flight options and the on-eworld Classic Flight Awards, which can be used for up to 35,000 mile Economy, Premium Economy, Business or First Class trips.
Here we describe how Qantas uponeworld Classic Awards work as a great way to maximize the value of your Qantas World Tour (RTW) points. Qantas has four different awards desks, why? Qantas RTW withdrawal is a good value, why? An RTW route posted as an on-eworld Classical Flight Rent is one of the best ways to maximize the value of your Qantas points.
RTW tickets allow you to travel the world and stay in up to five towns over a 12-month stay, provided there is bonus available and the entire trip is kept below 35,000 mileage. When you buy an RTW pass with money, sales prices typically begin at $3,000 in Economy, $11,000 in Business and more than $20,000 in First.
RTW Business Class routes are very much loved by pairs, and with this guidebook some of our readership have spared between $20,000 and $35,000 in expenses. Awarded this prize, you can select from over 1,000 goals in more than 150 nations served by the on-eworld alliance: As Emirates is not part of the on-eworld coalition, it cannot be added to this route.
Suppose you want to go back to Europe with Qantas or Emirates (a privileged partner). You will receive 256,000 points in Business Class or 392,000 points in First, plus tax and charges of $500-1000. You can also choose to use one of your non-preferred one-world airlines such as Qatar Airways, Cathay Pacific or British Airways for 278,000 in Business or 406,000 in First.
Please keep in mind that not all airlines run a Premium Economy flight attendant, so you would be looking for British Airways, Cathay Pacific and Qantas flight - other flight attendants would be in Economy. Below is the fundamental business class routing of 26,000 total air mileage, well below the 35,000 maximum: Since the Qantas RTW award gives you up to 15 routes, you don't necessarily have to take the most immediate one, as described above.
Of course you don't have to tackle long journeys. The addition of a number of smaller departures to travel to non-hub towns if you want to go there is also a very useful way to add value to this distinction. It would have taken 280,000 or 420,000 euros in First to travel the same way in Business Class.
If I draw his chart on Great Circle Mapper, I can see that the overall flying mileage was 34,343 within the 35,000 mile limit: as with other redemption awards, places are dependent on available places and there is a good possibility that you won't be able to get to the date you want, so you need to be flexibility with your data and itineraries ( as always, if you use points for the trip).
