Sample Uber Receipt
Pattern about receiptHowever, there are two types of over receipt - one that shows the resolution of the full ticket price and one that does not. Distances, times and surcharges are listed seperately on the invoice, in other cases the total price is shown directly. We' ve contacted Uber and here is how it accounts for the two different invoice formats:
This is the invoice, the price is displayed directly. UFP says that this is the UFP invoice where "the passenger goes from point A to point to point D and receives the advance booking rate indicated at the moment of the request". There is no temporal or spatial resolution in this document.
Distances, times and distances are shown as a separate item on the calculation or resolution. According to Uber, in this case "the passenger makes a roundabout way on the journey from point A to point A or is far away from B". Uber says that "in these circumstances the passenger will be billed according to period and length instead of UPF so as not to affect the driver's income".
When there is a road charge on the way, this is also explicitly stated on the receipt. If you have selected a specific target and go directly there, the rate distribution is not displayed because it belongs to the UFP invoices group. If you are making a fall-back journey, Uber will take into account whether you have made a detour to your final destinations and will add the additional charge in splits bill size.
Detouring does not always mean that you will be billed more, as you can choose a short itinerary instead. Although it may take unreasonably longer to conclude your journey, fares are likely to be overhauled. Keep in mind that the standard procedure considers the amount of travel per day and per hour, so this will be noted on your invoice.
So, the next times you get your receipt, you'll know why it's in that particular outfit. Uber, which is making active changes to its application, wants to expand its activities in India massivly. It is interesting to note that Uber in the US has introduced a new range of social policies that list some of the reasons why a passenger might loose his or her right to the services.
