Handling costs - Import fees. Tariffs, taxes, charges and levies The price of your journey will be charged in accordance with our fares valid on the date of paying for your tickets for the journey on the relevant date and for the route specified therein. Changing your route, date of departure or other aspect of your carriage may affect the price payable.

You will be responsible for any tax, duty or charge levied by the governments or other authorities or by the operators of airports. When you buy your tickets, you will be informed of tax, charges and levies which are not covered by the fares and which are usually shown on your tickets only.

Levies, charges and levies levied on airline traffic are subject to change and may be levied after the date on which the ticket is issued. In the event of an increased amount of duty, levy or duty shown on the ticket, you are required to do so. If a new levy, duty or levy is levied after the ticket has been issued, you are also required to make payment.

You are also eligible to request a reimbursement if any tax, charge or duty which you have been paying to us at the date of Ticket issue is eliminated or deducted so that it no longer applies to you or a lower amount is due. Although the cost of a ticket will not otherwise be raised after issue and payment, we retain the right to charge a supplement to take into account the higher cost caused by extraordinary events or conditions.

However, if you would like the support of our Sri Lankan Ticketing Agency in relation to the above mentioned on-line ticketing related activities, please be aware that there is a LKR 3500 charge. For changes that must be made within 24 hrs of the sailing date, the above mentioned charge will not be applied.
