New SriLankan Airlines Global Contact Center goes into operation

September 08, 2016 (LBO) - SriLankan Airlines has established a global 24-hour contact center that will continue to improve customer support for all its global clients and members of its FFP program. This new center will take over all of SriLankan Airlines' passengers flights. In 1979, the airline's primary contact number, which can be reached from any landline or cell phone in Sri Lanka, will remain unchanged.

The Chief Executive Officer of SriLankan Airlines, Captain Suren Ratwatte, said: "We at SriLankan Airlines have improved our products and brought our offerings right to the customer's door in recent month with an improved website, a clever new portable application and new ticketing throughout Sri Lanka. It is fully featured to manage a variety of client support features, such as 24×7 call and e-mail processing, Skype setup, direct dial numbers for select on-line targets, customised single member benefits, automatic FlySmile statement queries, last transactions detail and odometer run for members of FLysmile, improved tracking and tracing of Genesys state-of-the-art contact center system information and reports, and a full featured community video surveillance feature.

This center complies with internationally accepted data security and contact center operation requirements. In the near future it is anticipated to be ISO 27001 Information Security Standard, PCI-DSS v3.2 for Call Center Systems and Environmental and Industry Certifications for Call Center Processes (Service Capability & Performance Certification). She is also outfitted for fraud management on all your transactional needs and includes a full disaster recovery site.
