Taxi Sim 2016 is where you take on the part of a taxi operator on the bustling roads of a big town. Like you might think, you meet your customers, take them to their destination safe and sound, gather tariffs and do everything again. As soon as you have collected a person, you have a certain amount of elapsed working hours to get them to their final destinations (indicated by an amber arrow on the screen). Your amount of cash is based on the duration of the voyage, whether you were on schedule and how satisfied the traveller was with the voyage.

Driving with traffic light flashing too high, driving too quickly or scaring your co-driver in any other way, you will lose your rewards. Taxi 2016 looks quite good in graphic terms. Towns are a little bit empty of vehicles and foot traffic, but no cell phone games will be able to predict how close London's centre is on a particular day of the week.

Looking good, the automobiles are clearly an important part of the overall gameplay, and there are several to select or unselect, among them classic ones like a New York taxi in New York and a London taxi in London. Even the wheather changes, rains and dark make it difficult to drive. The most important thing is that the control elements and the surroundings are clear and well visible, even on the monitor of a small portable unit.

Like most other non-racing driver simulation systems, Taxi 2016 is a fairly easy task: Do you think moving around, transporting people from one place to another, sound like a lot of good laughs? When you do, this is a well run title built on this approach, with enough diversity in its cars, places and gameplay to keep it interesting for some while.
