In a new poll to determine the heaviest traffic air traffic lanes on the world, a shortlist of Asia's most heavily trafficked air passengers was identified, with the 450-kilometer trip from Seoul Gimpo Airport to Jeju off the Korean Peninsula leading the way. Overall, the Asia-Pacific region represented more than 70% of the 100 most congested air lanes in terms of traffic. With more than five million travellers, the Hanoi Noi Bai Airport to Ho Chi Minh City Tan Son Nhat Airport flight was in 7th place. Hong Kong Airport to Taipei Taoyuan has now been described as the most congested airport in the world, with 6.7 million people using the 802 kilometre long line in 2017.
