Hello, we've spent the night, but I think you can go on a full Day out. It would be a long sunny morning and the vulcano looks much better at first. Tanna takes 11/2hrs. From Tanna to the vulcano it takes 11,2 - 2 hrs on very rugged highways.

Practice the ritual before ascending the vulcano in about 1/2 hr, followed by a 10 min journey and a 15 min footpath. Would not recommend a full days excursion to Tanna Vulcano from a cruising point. A helicopter journey from the foreland at Pt Villa to the other vulcano lasts 31/2 hrs and the foreland is 10 minutes by taxi from the cruiser.
