As soon as you have paid for your booking, we will reimburse your down payment. Pricing shall be translated into other currency at the moment the flight is performed and at the price of Pound Sterling.

There will be no sold out flight and the price will not rise while you make your choice.

As your tax, duty and contribution levels fall, so does the overall price you are paying. Check this information on the price page once you have made your flight choice. Unfortunately, if you do not see this information, you cannot withhold your booking. You will then be asked to make the payment to maintain your booking.

You will then receive an e-mail confirmation that your booking has been completed with a reference to your booking. At any time within the 72 hour period, you can return to your booking, which is on hold: Unavailable for departures within 21 workdays. Available for flight+hotel or flight+car rent.

Data, trip or mixed passengers cannot be modified after the flight has taken place. Return postings that have been settled through the use of Avios are not suitable for the holding booking procedure. Paying the holding booking fee maintains your booking for the holding booking period. With the exception of small children under 2 years of age the hold booking fee is due per named adult at the time of booking.

In order to be classified as an "infant" and travelling with a child ticket, the child must be under 2 years of age at the point of travelling on all itineraries. When the Hold Booking is approved and the full amount of the Hold Booking approval fee is received within the Hold Booking Period, the Hold Booking Fee will be reimbursed within 21 business Days of full receipt of full settlement in a discrete operation and back to the original form of settlement used to pay the Hold Booking Fee.

Any tariffs within the same holding booking must be validated and fully settled simultaneously during the holding booking period. You can confirm your holding booking within the holding booking period either on-line via ba.com or off-line at the number applicable to your location as indicated on our Contacts page.

When confirming hold bookings off-line, you will be charged a booking charge that varies according to the countries you are booking from. Hold bookings cannot be paid for in person unless the booking is made to a West African location, in which case you may be asked to make the personal reservation.

Failure to reconfirm the hold booking and failure to fully pay the hold booking confirmation fee within the hold booking period will result in the release of the tariffs maintained and no refund of the hold fee. No changes may be made to a Hold Booking during the Hold Booking Period.

If you need to modify your booking information (in relation to your ticket category (Adult/Child Fare), number of passengers, itinerary, flight or date), you may choose to void or expire the booking period before making a new booking. Hold Booking Fees will not be reimbursed. When changes are made to your booking with respect to changes in flight, cabin, date and passengers data after Hold Booking has been validated and payments have been made to validate Hold Booking, such changes will be governed by all changes to charges set forth in the tariff conditions governing your booking.

With respect to tickets bought from the United States of America, if the journey takes more than one calendarweek from the date of receipt of payment for confirmation of the hero booking, the hero booking confirmation fee and retention fee will be fully reimbursed if you choose to void your confirmation of your booking within 24 ours from the date of receipt of the hero booking confirmation fee and notify BA within the same 24 hr timeframe.

When the Hold Booking Fee is payable, the fares and dues imposed by the carrier or, if appropriate, the fuel surcharge for the Hold Booking Period are determined. Duties, levies and dues of third parties are imposed by airports, government, other agencies or other airline companies and are charged at the moment of full and definitive travel price settlement so that the price of the tickets may vary from the price quoted at the moment of Hold Booking Fee settlement.

When you reside in the Federal Republic of Germany and your flight depart, an increment in tax, charge or levy will not be made within 4 month of the date of sale of the tickets. They are not part of the price of your tickets and should be payed on the spot.

State and/or international airports fees are reimbursable, but in some jurisdictions VAT, sales tax or similar may be levied which is only reimbursed for fully flex ticket. Holding a reservation is not permitted to make seating reservation, upgrade or purchase extra luggage in advance of confirming the reservation. If the BA involuntarily changes or cancels your booking during the holding period, you will be given an option.

You will be notified of the alternate offering by means of a notice on the "Manage My Booking" page of your ba.com accounts (for debt rescheduling) or in the event of cancellation by e-mail or phone. If you are not satisfied with the alternate offering, you may reverse the Hold booking and the Hold booking fee will be returned.

You may not use Avio's rebates, gifts or e-vouchers to fully pay the Hold Booking Fee. You cannot earn Tier Points or Aviation Points by queuing, but you can earn them once the queuing has been approved and paid to validate the queuing, provided you are authorized to do so.

The BA retains the right to amend these General Business Conditions at any moment.
