The Geneva International Airports is the most important international aerodrome servicing the Geneva area of Switzerland. Cointrin used to be known as Cointrin International but today it is officially known as Genève Aéroport. Situated 4 km north-west of the Geneva CBD, the international airports are about 17 min drive away.

North of the airports borders are along the Swiss-French frontier, so that the airports can be reached from both states.
