Pilots training | Glendale Community College

It is a piloting program that helps men and woman of all age groups get started in fascinating civil aviation. An extensive range of floor categories and aviation laboratories are available to help pilots train to successfully complete Federal Aviation Administration pilots, instruments ratings, professional pilots' skills and hands-on tests. The floor exercises take place on the Hauptcampus.

Air drills will be held from our Whiteman Airport Facility in Pacoima using in-house airplanes. In total, the pilots' education covered more than 40,000 flying times. The members of the department have practical experiences in such different jobs as professional pilots, company pilots, copilot helicopters, Alaska bush pilots and Los Angeles traffick watches pilots.

Besides the preparation for professional flight places, the programme is also suitable for those who want to become professional flight attendants or acquire an evaluation of instruments. Appropriate laboratory charges shall be levied to compensate for the running expenses of trainer aeroplanes. In spite of the evaluation of these laboratory charges, we are optimistic that you will consider the Glendale College Piloting Course to be the most cost-effective piloting course available in Southern California.

Aero Glendale Services at Glendale Municipal Airport

On Saturday, 20 January 2018, Mike Fox made a special attempt to exchange the tyre on my BE 36 at GYR airport. Excellent customer care in one week. Arrived later in the day, a replacement needed a run for a while. The journey lasted longer than expected and resolved to remain the overnight. Then they arranged a motel for us, got a taxi for us and bound the plane.

The next day came out, supplemented off the previous night (only took 12. 4 G) and the top off denied the accommodation charge. Well, we flown in one afternoons. One of our friends has a hang-ar at the airfield, so we left our airplane there for the whole evening. Next thing I know, I'm calling for petrol.

It is a great little aerodrome for a big town. Previously I had stayed at Goodyear for the whole of the night, but I ended up in Glendale because of the close vicinity to places like hotel and restaurant. It was the best choice I made because the people at Glendale Aero went way beyond what you could expect from an FBO.

During my last journey they phoned me later Friday to tell me that they had found that I had a puncture in my airplane. Her workshop remained open for a long time to fix it, so I wouldn't be stuck until Tuesday because it was a public holidays week-end. Of course I am very thankful for the excellent customer care.
