Start of the trip with an overpass of Saint Thomas-Universität. It is the home of Miami's own Andy Elisburg, Senior Vice President of Basketball Operations for Miami Heat. There is also a view of Dusfoundling Bay and Founders Park. Amazing vistas of the beaches of Hallandale, Golden, Sunny Isles and Haulover are offered before the trip returns to Opa-Locka Airport.

Doesn't mean the view stops when the helicopter returns southward. Keep an eye out for the beauty of Oleta River State Park and the Bal Harbour town, home to some of the region's best deluxe resort and retailer destinations. Whilst this still seems to be a relatively short air journey, you will be amazed at how much land the Golden Beaches Tour overlies.

You start with a flight over the North Miami and East Shores area. Sharp eyed should be looking for the roof of the famed Duffy's Sports Grill in North Miami Beach. Building on the Taste of Miami Tour experiences, the Golden Beaches Tour heads southwards to offer exceptional vistas of the whole of Miami Beach, from Surfside to the fluorescent lighting of Southern Beach.

The section offers a glimpse of many of the region's award-winning beachside front resort, a series of park along the Miami Beach Boardwalk and the notorious Art Deco District. You can also visit the extraordinary Fisher Island Course, Historic Virginia Key Beach Park and Virginia Key Mountain Bike Park and much of the Inner Waterway before the helicopter heads back to the North West and Opa-Locka Executive Airport.

You can also visit Bayfront Park, Marlins Park and the American Airlines Arena, home of the NBA's Miami Heat. And for those interested in seeing one of the region's most cultural and unique neighborhoods, the Miami Grand Tour also offers a view of Little Havana and the barrel isolation range that encompasses Virginia Key and Key Biscayne.

The Miami Seaquarium and Crandon Park Tennis Center are located on these islets. Overlooking Coral Gables, Coconut Grove and the University of Miami campus where the hurricanes are at home, there's no better way to see everything the Greater Miami community has to offer. It was the perfect flight for us with clear sky and perfect sunshine.

Choosing the half hours trip was enough to see all the sights and enjoying the drive. The city has great sandy shores, pretty locals, great dining, night clubs, shopping and more. Everybody goes back to Miami, the big issue is what to do when you've seen most of them? By chance I chose a helicopter trip and started looking for a place around me to do just that.
