Where would you use your private jet? If we are making an acquaintance for a customer, we are spending a lot of our attention on analysing the statistical information of past flight dates (if available). The majority of customers ask whether this is really necessary and the response is clear: yes. You ask why it is so important to know the frequencies of passengers' burdens and journeys of a certain length... my response is that we recall important occurrences more closely than usual them.

Customers will particularly recall when they were unable to accommodate their baggage on a particular plane or when they did not have the space for that extra traveller, which are non-standard travel: Those journeys will decide which private jet is best for you. It is our goal to buy the private jet that is most suitable for 90% of the customer's use.

When it comes to statistically analyzing, there are periods when the scientist rejects the "outliers".... we never reject the outsiders, especially when they reappear, but we also don't want these rare travels to dictate the acquisitions policy. Often there are "rules of thumb"...we all know some...if you fly 25 hrs per year charters or if you fly 200 hrs or more, you should own your own private jet.

Although these can be the right answers, it is usually more of a coincidence than a logic choice. I had a customer, for example, who was a large retailer that flew over 500 hrs a year...the general principle is that they had to own a jet to meet their flight needs...the figures showed that the best option was charters or split ownership...how could that be?

Response was that this customer had five local branches that had flown to several shops during one or two consecutive business trips. They also wanted the freedom to have more than one private jet a night. Not the cheapest, the break down option provided the opportunity to get a complete package that rationalized the bookkeeping and customer interactions process.

But the best private jet for many a mission doesn't necessarily have to be a jet. Absolutely. Another example is how you would use the private jet. Will you use this private jet only for special purpose journeys with many travellers or only for your holidays? If you' re flying private, how long are you staying?

That can be an important consideration when choosing which private jet services to buy. What does it take to get this private jet an hour? No. Here, too, busily employed pros want to bear part of the flight expenses for their private jet. Most importantly, you should keep in mind all your expenses, purchasing expenses, overheads, capital charges, running expenses with provisions as well as your planning and possible refund of taxes.

Actual flight charges are the total of all charges multiplied by the number of flight hour of the "customer or his employee/family"...not the number of flight hour of the private jet for other purpose, such as charter flight for an external partner. So, if you are considering buying a private jet, make sure you work with a company that will help you better realize what you really need and how much it will pay.

A sound choice will be the best introduction to the private jet age.
