What Time do Taxis Start Running
When do taxis start running?Opening times for taxis to Barcelona Airport?
F: Would a cab be available to take us from Hilton Diagonal Mar to Barcelona International airport (El Prat de Llobregat) at 07:00? We' re supposed to be at the terminal by 7:55. Which opening times do the Barcelona Taxis have and how much time is needed to get to Barcelona International airport?
Taxi is available 24 hrs a day and 365 a year. From Barcelona, drive between 20 and 40 min to Barcelona International Airports, wherever you are in the center of the center. The Hilton Diagonal Mar is on the other side of downtown from the Llobregat International Park International Park, so I would say that you should plan about 40 min to be on the safer side to get from the Hotel Hilton Diagonal Mar to Barcelona El Prat de Llobregat International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park International Park.
The streets are relatively clear at 07:00, so that you should be there in time with a time expenditure of 40 mins. Usually from the center of the town ( near the Plaça de Catalunya ) the journey by cab to the international airports takes about 25 mins. Taxis to Venice airport - how early do you leave?
When we book our journey to Italy, we may have to take a 7:00 a. m. plane home from Venice. In the early mornings we are worried about arriving at the Marco Polo International Airports. but can I suppose your cabs leave at 4:00 in the afternoon? Taxis (the tire type) can only get to Piazzale Roma.
That is why you must first go to Piazzale Roma. There are taxis all the time. But there are also taxis (speedboats with 9 seats). You can walk on the lake and take them directly to the airports (they also drive all nights like a normal taxi). However, they are quite costly (about 110 euros from Venice to the airport), so they are good for a large group as they can accommodate 9 people.
There are also the boat trips to the airports at certain bus stations. They' re a little less expensive than a sea taxicab. Anyway, the journey from the centre of Venice (in the centre of the lagoon) to the international airports is a long one (more than 1 hour with the plane and a little less with the boat taxi).
For this reason I often suggest to return from another US airfield because it is annoying to reach the VCE airfield in the early mornings. You must leave your accommodation at least 3 hrs before your scheduled date of arrival. HAVE a plane from Marco Polo to LAX via Paris at 7:05 am in the middle of May.
Non-boot option for Marco Polo: From Santa Lucia railway in Venice to Venice Mestre (mainland), where you can take a cab (with wheels) to Marco Polo airport, start the morning at 5:05 a.m..... Or change to the bus/take the ATVO coach (with wheels) from Venice Mestre railway-station to Marco Polo. The ATVO shuttle coach (with wheels) leaves Piazzale Roma in Venice (west side of the islands) at 5:00 a.m. and goes directly to Marco Polo, where it arrives about 20min later.
Hopefully to achieve this with a little bit of effort, we have reserved a nearby Piazzale Roma resort, the Best Western Olimpia resort.... Staying further eastwards in Venice, you might have to walk a lot or take a boat taxis. when the vaporetto's start running.
I will also say that your 7am plane is an intra-Europe plane and you don't have to be at the terminal 3hrs in advance. On an EU trip, I usually arrive online to make a check-in 1 hour to 75 minutes before take-off. The Venice International Court isn't that big.
The Rome International Park is 30-35 minutes by cab from the centre of Rome. Florence International Airports is only 15 minutes by cab from the centre of Florence. For information only, I am on an 11:00 a.m. plane from Venice directly to Philadelphia with US Air and continue my trip to LA. I could give you a room at the airfield with an airshuttle.
You can see a number of independant hotel on GoogleMaps.com when you enlarge "Venice Marco Polo" with a few clic. This way you could be sure that you would arrive at the destination on time. Where you live will determine the best route to the city. An Alilaguna line departs San Marco at around 4am to take you to the 7am plane to the area.
It worked well for me the last time, but I stayed close to the bus stop. It is our first journey to Italy and we take part in the Heart of Italy Tours, which includes a few additional sightseeing tours in Venice. Already we book the 6:50 a.m. plane from Venice (to get home on time and collect our dog from the kennel...after landing we also have the three-hour ride home from Toronto and have to pass duty at the border...it's always something).
That' why we got the early plane. What Lois says is what I read - Marco Polo only opens between 5:00 and 5:30. 1 ) stays nearer to the Piazzale Roma International Park Terminal (thanks, David), or 2) bites into the cost block and uses a short journey boat taxis to make a reservation the previous morning, or 3) stays nearer to Piazzale Roma Piazzale Terminal and brings the ATVO to the Piazzale Roma International Park Terminal.
Looks like a special offer to me if we don't take the boatyard. You could see the B & B Ca dei Polo.
