Apple Macbook Pro A1278

Slim, lightweight and built to impress, the Apple MacBook Pro A1278 A1278 is a 13.3-inch laptop. A1278 MacBook Pro (13) In October 2008, when Apple introduced the aluminium-body MacBook to the market, the difference between the MacBook and MacBook Pro laptops began to narrow to a point where people began to wonder when Apple would choose to combine the two into a family. Introducing the new 13-inch MacBook Pro models (in two versions) - and reconfiguring the MacBook line to include only a 2 inch blank.

MacBook 13GHz - a clear differentiation between the two is back. The new 13-inch MacBook Pro, introduced at Apple's yearly Worldwide Developer's Conference, has three key characteristics that distinguish it from the aluminium MacBooks that have now been overtaken. Firstly, the new 13-inch laptop uses a longer-lasting, non-replaceable rechargeable lithium ion laptop similar to the one first introduced in the 17-inch MacBook Pro.

Last ly, the new 13-inch MacBook Pros now have a Secure Digital (SD) storage cartridge slot. What's more, you can now use the new 13-inch MacBook Pros with a Secure Digital (SD) storage cartridge socket. New 13-inch MacBook Pro is available in two default configuration or model versions. Its $1199 includes a 2. 26GHz Core 2 Duo CPU, 2GB 1GHz (or 1066MHz) DDR3 random access memory, and a 160GB 5400 rpm HDD.

$1499 has a 2. 53GHz Core 2 Duo CPU, 4GB 1GHz (1066MHz) DDR3 random access drive and a 250GB 5400 rpm HDD. Each model comes with the same nVidia GeForce 9400M graphics card (used in the aluminium MacBook unibody) that has 256MB of shared graphics card space. The new 13-inch MacBook Pros look almost the same from the front as the aluminium MacBooks they are replacing.

Featuring the same precision-manufactured, solid aluminium styling as the aluminium MacBook, the new laptop computers feature a shiny, wide-format 1280 x 800 pixel LCD and an iSight digital still image mounted behind a pane of pane of glass. And Apple says enhancements to the displays and backlights have boosted colour space by 60 per cent. Unfortunately, these MacBook Pros do not have an anti-glare feature.

The new MacBook Pros feature a MagSafe electrical outlet on the far right, a single GbE connection, a Mini DisplayPort, two 2.0 connectors, the aforementioned FireWire 800 connection (amen!), and an SD memory cartridge socket. But what kind of boost is there in comparison to other MacBooks? By comparison, the new 2. 53GHz MacBook Pro was just over 12 per cent quicker overall than the 2. 26GHz MacBook Pro.

With Photoshop and Cinema 4D, the 2. 53GHz notebook was about 21 per cent quicker. Part of this power gap is due to the extra amount of extra memory in the 2. 53GHz system; to measure the gap, MacWorld levelled the board by including 2GB of storage in the 2. 26GHz system, increasing it to 4GB, which is the default setting for the 2. 53GHz system.

Most of the differences in terms of extra memory were in our Photoshop suites, which increased the 2.26GHz MacBook Pro by about 10 per cent. If we compare the new 13-inch 2.26GHz MacBook Pro with the last 13-inch 2GHz aluminium MacBook, we see that the 2.26GHz MacBook Pro is about 12 per cent overall speedier, with whole line speeds up.

Considering the difference in power between the new 13-inch 2.26GHz MacBook Pro and the cheapest Mac notebook, the $999 2.13GHz MacBook Pro, the difference in power between the new 13-inch 2.26GHz MacBook Pro and the cheapest Mac notebook, the $999 2.13GHz MacBook Pro, is a 7.5 per cent increase in your average speeds with the 2.26GHz MacBook Pro. 2. The 26GHz 2. also had better picture speeds in 3-D gaming, thanks to the quicker storage the MacBook Pro uses; the MacBook Pro 800MHz has 800MHz GDR2 storage, while the MacBook Pro 26GHz 2. uses 1066MHz DDR3AM.

And the most interesting benchmarks are between the 13-inch, 2.53GHz MacBook Pro and the 15-inch, 2.53GHz MacBook Pro. Those notebooks had a less than 1 per cent gap in their speeds, and their specs are almost the same. While you can't replace the new built-in lithium-polymer rechargeable batteries, Apple hopes you'll never need them - our testing shows that the new rechargeable batteries last longer per load than the replaceable batteries in the MacBook's predecessor series.

New 13-inch MacBooks took about 48 mins longer than the older aluminium MacBook and about 10 mins longer than the second. Thirteen GHz MacBook whiteboard. Comparing the 13-inch MacBook Pro's rechargeable lifetime with that of its 15-inch brothers and sisters, you'll find that the bigger 15-inch MacBook Pro gives your notebook 30 extra moments of performance.

New 13-inch MacBook Pro Mac comes with up to 8GB of storage capacity. In order to update the 2. 26GHz version of your computer's 2. 26GHz system, which contains only 2GB of random access memory by default, Apple will charge an additional $100 for 4GB (one 2GB module pair) and $1100 for 8GB (one 4GB module pair).

53GHz 2. Delivered with 4GB of random access memory, the 53GHz can be bought with the 8GB option for another $1000. Third parties offer you compliant storage for less money; for example, OWC offers an 8GB for $635, but you have to do it yourself. Unfortunately, Apple won't be selling a MacBook Pro without random access or even letting you set up a 2.53GHz notebook with less than 4GB of free access, so if you choose to use aftermarket storage, you'll know that you'll end up upgrading the storage space, and you'll have two spare random access drives.

The OWC has a storage exchange programme that will help compensate for some of the upgrading work. Every $50 less on the 2. 56GHz version. CPU upgrades are not an optional feature on the 13-inch MacBook Pros, and Apple provides only 7200-rpm drive options on the 15-inch and 17-inch MacBook Pros.

At Apple, we consider the storage and disk to be parts that can be maintained by the end users, so there's nothing to stop you from purchasing one from a third-party vendor and install it yourself. Featuring a lower cost, the addition of FireWire (woo-hoo!), a better-looking screen, and a new built-in SD port from which you can start booting, the latest member of MacBook Pro makes an amazing comeback.
