Honda and Honda entered into a commercial alliance in July 2006 to commercialize the new HA-420 HondaJet. 37 ] The following time period, the company let the "new" fall out of its name and returned to Piper Aircraft. Piper's J-3 Cub, a single-engined, high-flying two-seater, was the first low-cost trainer to be mass-produced.
