Slightly larger planes are also available, which are considered small 7 or 8 seater planes, such as the Hawker 400XP; Embraer Phenom 300 and a number of Learjet and Citation versions. Turbo prop airplanes are also engineered for a brief voyage of efficiencies, but some Beechcraft King Air versions (the world's most famous Turbo prop) have luxury interior VIPs that can compete with any small or mid-size jet.

This may also involve a side-facing couch which can be extended and tilted into a fully reclining bed. Intermediate jet engines can offer added cab convenience, plus more sleep accommodation, for slightly longer cruises of 4-5 hrs or when more room is required. And the most beloved airplane in this class - and the most beloved private jet in the worlds due to its flexibility and costeffectiveness - is the Citation XL/XLS/XLS+.

It has 6 fully tiltable, additional width seating positions that can be positioned for a very cushy sleep posture - and some styles also feature a two-seater sofa. With slightly higher hourly costs and more room, Beechcraft's mid-size Hawker aircraft stand out for their cab height and mid-range level of comforts.

Hawker 900 and 800XP feature a three-person sofa for full-surface sleep and additional 360-degree tilt and tilt reclining seating. The Legacy 450 and Legacy 500 provide room for 7 to 10 people, offering outstanding spaciousness, reach and comforts. There are two of the main clubs chairs completely in a flatbed configuration - the chairs are swung to a back-to-back configuration and interlocked together to transform them into a full-surface, very comfy bed.

While the G650's cab can accommodate up to 14 people, it is typical that it is designed for 8 people, providing space for easy-to-operate reclining chairs that can be converted into a large, shallow bed at one end of the cab. Dassault's Falcon jet offers an extremely convenient sleep sensation even in the long-haul class. Falcon 900EX accommodates 8 to 12 guests and features a three-seater sofa as a roomy berth, and a further two berths can be converted into a full-length bed. Bombardier's worldwide long haul jet line - the initial World Express and the newer World 5000 and World 6000 - also offers similar sofa to bed upgrades.

Some planes have a private rear berth optional - a private berth in the cabins with private bathrooms to maximize your level of luxury and serenity. There are no limits to the possibilities of furnishing private commercial airplanes - including the bedroom. Boeing and Airbus are the leaders in the manufacture of these oversized private jet vehicles used by VVIPs, heads of state and large corporations.
