to the Alaskan Lodge, which I think is 2 leagues out of the city. When I did a quest, I was amazed when a taxi service actually showed up. Please try searching the FAQ on the site for your questions: www.talkeetnachamber.org. The Talkeetna Alaska Lodge provides a shuttles between the city and the city.

The Talkeetna is small. If they didn't know that this service exists (which is mentioned in the Talkeetna Chamber of Commerce under "Taxi Service"), I wouldn't be surprised by "Talkeetna Travel". In Talkeetna, the taxi service has been in operation at least since the last peak of the year. In case you have dinner at the brasserie, you will have to return your taxi to the lodge.

Please be aware that the shuttles to the hostel stop quite early - the last shuttles from the city to the hostel is about 17.45 hrs. I' ve been to several restaurants in Talkeetna and had a good time with all of them. k2iks taxi is to drive from the city to the Ålaskan lagoon, not to another place further away!
