Visit the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and obtain a full H6 driver story written within the last 30 workdays. Restricted progress reporting ("K4") or on-line received reporting is NOT allowed. Appears before LADOT and presents the following: Please note: Your entry will be scanned for pending car park passes that must be purchased before a driver's license can be granted.
When LADOT first processes you, you will be assigned to the Taxicab Driver Examination, which will take place every Wednesday at 8:00 am.... TAXICAB ROULES brochure contains more information about the taxis in Los Angeles city area. Brochures are available at our $3.00 open ticket office.
Please note: All authorizations are subject to prosecution; the authorizations are the sole ownership of LADOT and must be restored upon expiry for renewal/replacement and in the case of termination or withdrawal. You have the right to challenge the Board of Taxicab CoTmmissioners' ruling if you are refused permission or your permission is withdrawn.
To obtain a new (expired), extended (expired) or new* authorisation, you must submit a new application, a new letter of intent (H6) and all the above mentioned documentation. When your last authorization lapsed more than three years ago, you must repeat the taxi driver check and get another fingerprint.
