The Fortune Wings Club points collected are calculated on the basis of the tariff category indicated on the ticket and the flight departure /destination distances. Distances are expressed in kilometres and in accordance with the International Air Transport Association's publication entitled Ticketing Point Milage (TPM). Reward tickets, group tickets and other tickets specified by Virgin Australia are not eligible to earn Fortune Wings Club points.

Virgin Australia charters tickets VA9000-VA999999 are not eligible to earn Fortune Wings Club points. Every airline can only earn points in one programme - either the Fortune Wings Club or Virgin Australia's Velocity Frequency Flyer. The Fortune Wings Club points will be added to a member's bank balance 6 week after the date of travel.

In the event that you do not find the points in your balance at this point, please return your missed miles to the Fortune Wings Club at or (+86-898) 950717 together with your e-ticket or boarding card within 6 month of your date of traveling. Virgin Australia's Crude Standard points above came into force on July 6, 2017.

From July 2, 2018, Fortune Wings Club members will be eligible for Virgin Australia (VA) Premier Member Service when operating VA managed travel between or within Australia or New Zealand to China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, China locations. The Fortune Wings Club members are obliged to present their current personal member IDs in order to use the following additional service.

1, 2&3 Applies to all VA flies with a VA/HU/HX number operating between or within Australia or New Zealand to destination in China. Hongkong, Macau and Taiwan, China. Applies to UA services on national routes with a UA/HU/HX route number and select transatlantic services between Melbourne/Sydney and Hong Kong.

Only usable if Fortune Wings Club members operate internal services with a VA/HU/HX number. Only usable if Fortune Wings Club members operate VA-operated services from MEL/SYD=HKG with a VA/HU/HX number. Members of Fortune Wings Club are liable for all taxes and surcharges for reward tickets on Virgin Australia flights. Virgin Australia redemption ticket requirements for kids and toddlers are the same as for adult tickets. The Virgin Australia Awards are for one year from the date of issuance and rewards that have elapsed will not be taken.

Virgin Australia's airline awards would be redeemed on the basis of the Ticket Amendment Policy or the Fortune Wings Club Cancelation Policy. In the event that a request for a travel modification is made prior to your scheduled travel, the Fortune Wings ticket member will be billed 200 CNY/per ticket/once, the select ticket member 180 CNY/per ticket/once and the élite members (platinum, bullion and silver) free of cost.

Tickets will lose their validity and points will not be reimbursed if a request is made to switch flights after your travel. Members may claim back the taxes on idle tickets for a free rebate, but points will not be returned. Members may claim back taxes, petrol surcharges and points on tickets not used for forced refunds.

The member should call the Fortune Wing Club Member Services Helpline at (86-898) 950717 to reimburse points within 30 business days, otherwise points will expire.
