It is the premier Chinese air transportation company and a leader in providing air freight, air transportation related goods and related transportation solutions to passengers and airlines in China. The operative head office is located in Beijing, an important Chinese and foreign center. In addition, it provides scheduled air transportation related service, which includes airplane servicing, groundhandling in Beijing, Chengdu and other sites.
The number of passengers has risen to 408, of which 106 are internationals, 15 regionals and 287 nationals. Our company global reach encompassed 39 counties and geographies worldwide and 184 towns and villages, 66 of which were global, 3 local and 115 national. On 15 December 2004, Air China was quoted on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange under the numbers 00753 and AIRC respectively.
