Alaska Airlines spokesman Bobbie Egan says I.T. engineers solved the dilemma around 3:30 p.m. and forwarded the incident to a Portland based routing company. The airline was specified by Egan with the computer system in charge of preparing airline documents and making client bookings.

Failures affected Seattle, San Francisco and Anchorage airfields. Flights were not canceled, but it was recommended that travellers verify the state of their flights before going to the terminal.
