Alaska Air to Seattle

Air Alaska to Seattle

An Alaska Airlines non-stop service from Seattle to Columbus, Ohio promotes cooperation in the technology sector. From March 7, 2019 Alaska Airlines will be flying non-stop from Seattle to Columbus, Ohio. It is the first air liner to link the two towns in years and is a blessing for the Midwestern Cape Town, which already hosts major satellite stations of some of Seattle's largest technology firms.

We have our own distribution center and retailer in Columbus. With a Columbus field station at Boeing, Amazon employs more than 4,000 people in the city's computer centres and storage facilities. The Columbus is also in the race for Amazon HQ2, a contest between 20 towns for the $5 billion second home of the technology behemoth.

Amazon HQ2's chosen town will not be the only winning town in the competition. The Alaska Airlines will certainly see an upward trend in leaflets as Amazon's thousand workers commute between Seattle and second headquarters. When Alaska won the bid, it had non-stop services to 17 of Amazon's 20 shortlisted towns for HQ2.

Alaska flies non-stop to Pittsburgh in September, another HQ2 nominee. It' gonna be the only one-way service between the two towns. Columbus' additions mean that 19 of the 20 towns competing for HQ2 will have non-stop services to Alaska from Seattle. Getting to Alaska will increase Columbus' and Pittsburgh's odds.

For Amazon, day-to-day non-stop Seattle services are "an important factor" in the company's choice. However, even for non-stop services, the two Middle Western towns are long shots in comparison to major eastern and southern metropolitan areas that compete for HQ2. Puget Sound Business Journal was the first to report on Alaska's new Columbus mission.

NVASHVILLE ? Today Alaska Airlines is welcomed to visit BNA (Nashville International Airport) in Newville. Beginning September 23, the carrier will offer a non-stop day to day Seattle flight to Seattle.
