Air Lanka Airways
Lanka AirwaysSriLankan Airlines reviews and flights (with photos)
The personnel of the airplane was very kind and supportive. Dinner was of good workmanship. Extreme averages for an intercontinental carrier, especially for a long-haul one. Eating was more appropriate for South Indian/Sri Lankan flavour nerves than for the general population. Veggie choices were bad and spirit choices were better.
My personnel was welcoming and the laundry room was neat during my plane ride. Special care was taken by the crews, who asked from occasion to occasion if they were feeling well, and the services and friendliness of the place..... Traveled many occasions with this carrier on this itinerary, the services have ranged from excellence down to quite bad sometimes, on the latest air services was certainly not the top notch, but still good.
But the first guest was rushing into the fact that catering and catering were almost at the same time, it's a long time.... Once before we flew with Sri Lankan Airways and had no qualms about taking another one. Our one-way ticket was quite bad, but not nearly as bad as our one-way ticket back to Great Britain. The one-way ticket.....
It was one of the better trips I really liked, especially as the meal was more like the Indian's tastes. Servicing was good and the links outstanding. Meals and drinks were of outstanding standard, as was the catering on the boat.
SriLankan Airlines Yacht Charter Reviews | SKYTRAX
London Heathrow to Colombo. It was a very disappointing trip. With 20 woks expecting with twin babies on a 10 hours 45 minutes ride and we sit deliberately on our seat before we take off that there is a techical problem and that all our seat from 50 years old to the tail of the aircraft had no energy.
Everyone who went to the bathroom and was standing at our seat was commenting on how much cooler it was where we were. None of this was convenient or good for my good fortune on a nights flying during pregnancy. Dhaka to Colombo. Our intention was a one-way trip and Srilankan was the best one.
The plane was on schedule. Well, our 3-hour plane ride wasn't dull. Kuwait to Chennai via Colombo. lf all goes well, this plane will be fine. When you have a proof in your reservation, they will not assist you on your grounds unless you buy a tickets from airline companies. I' m not recommending an urgent trip on this plane.
Colombo to Jakarta. A large number of travellers booked over this trip and many, among them myself, were unable to get on despite arriving early. There was a Colombo to Jakarta plane, but I was asked to go over KL, which meant another 4 hour journey. Reasonably good carrier by flying directly from Melbourne to Colombo back.
Chairs are slim and very inconvenient. From Melbourne to Sri Lanka I will be recommending the company to travelers. Colombo to Melbourne. Splendid plane, most people, myself included, chose to go to sleep and not to have supper, was a trip after noon. It was a very good job for the crews, the planes were a little old, but doing bussines was great, good films, good breakfast, it took a long while to get there, but more of a problem with Melbourne than with the airlines.
Trivandrum to Colombo. They weren't comfy at all, but it looks nice and tidy. Flew Male via Colombo to Jakarta. The A321 was the old A321, which offers no in-flight fun, no reclining chairs and a smaller amount of leg room on this brief outing.
A few and a half years later he took the new D321neo on the CMB-CGK track, which was better and had reclining chairs, more leg room and IFE. The overall round-trip was good, but not for the floor in Colombo, which was horrible in comparison to other airfields on board. Flew Male via Colombo to Jakarta.

Colombo Airport's serving dib lounges have seen better times, but there is a good sideboard and travellers are eligible for free shower and 15-minute scalp massages. Since I had a 7:50 plane, the lounges were not overcrowded.
With the older A330-200, this aircraft can manage with adjacent passengers. Lucky for me, I had both places to myself. In view of the almost 4-hour long journey, the comprehensive choice of breakfasts, the free entrance to the lounges and the roomy sitting areas, the Businessclass rate was worthwhile.
