iPhone XS Max is all done, next up is a new MacBook Air and iPad Pro. The MacBook Air: All we know Apple's reliable Ming-Chi Kuo has said he thinks Apple is working on a "more accessible MacBook Air" to be launched sometime in 2018, a rumour confirmed by several other sources. Apple's reliable Ming-Chi Kuo has said that he thinks Apple is working on a "more accessible MacBook Air". Uncertainties have surfaced about whether this new engine will be in the MacBook or the MacBook Air families, and hybrid rumours have obscured Apple's intentions.

Initially Kuo said the coming low-cost aircraft would be in the MacBook Air range, but he later altered his opinion. Now he thinks that the laptop could "replace" the 12-inch MacBook's present one. Kuo is a little vague, however, so it's not known whether he thinks Apple will substitute the whole MacBook line with new, cheaper devices, or whether he just wants it to be an entry-level MacBook that replaces the latest MacBook outfit.

In the second half of 2018, DigiTimes said Apple was working on a new entry-level 13-inch MacBook to replace the MacBook Air. Its price is around $1,200, which is equivalent to the price of the 12-inch MacBook.

Bloomberg, meanwhile, says Apple is working on a new MacBook that will cost less than $1,000 and be part of the MacBook Air line, and the Taiwanese website Economic Daily News says Apple is working on a more accessible MacBook Air release at a level of $799 to $899. No matter how much the new laptop will cost and whether it will be a MacBook or a MacBook Air, there are some specific detail that has emerged.

It' s supposed to have a similar look to the latest 13-inch MacBook Air, but with sleeker screens and a retina panel. Considering the rumours about a retina monitor, it's not clear how a 13-inch MacBook with retina monitor will fit into the 12-inch MacBook. Retina and a bigger case are the only characteristics that make the MacBook Air different from the 12-inch MacBook, making it sound like these two strains are somehow merging.

The Economic Daily News believe that the rumor mill's MacBook Air sequel will use Intel's Kaby Lake Refresh processor, which came out in the second half of 2017. Apples plans to use the 14nm Kaby Lake Refresh chip because Intel is delaying the introduction of new Cannon Lake chip based on an enhanced 10nm proces.

However, Intel has introduced new Whiskey Lake chip suitable for use in an updated MacBook Air in August, so MacBook Air can also use the newer Whiskey Lake chip, which offers better power and longer battery run time. As of the 4th trimester of 2018, Quanta is expected to fulfill orders for Apple's new "low-cost notebook", which would suggest a market introduction in September or October.

Apple plans to release a new MacBook Air at the end of the third fiscal year, according to TrendForce, a Taiwan market researcher. In July, Apple enrolled new iPad and Macs with the Eurasian Economic Commission, which the Apple does before launching new products. While the last three numbers may refer to new 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pros, the first two may refer to a new MacBook or MacBook Air.

MacBook Air was once Apple's slimmest and most lightweight laptop, a track it missed to the 12-inch MacBook in 2015 and to the MacBook Pro in 2016. Since it' s no longer Apple's most wearable device, the only thing MacBook Air can now take for granted is "the cheapest" with pricing from $999.

Apple's MacBook Air is at the end of its life and is offered as a low-cost line item in the Mac line until the MacBook and MacBook Pro are able to lower the prices. MacBook Air's 11-inch MacBook has been completely retired, and while Apple still has two 13-inch MacBook Air products for sale, we don't anticipate any further major machine up-dates.

Apple unveiled the new MacBook Pro for the first time at the October 27, 2016 show, where it unveiled the 13-inch MacBook Pro without Touch Bar, positioning it as a true replacement for MacBook Air. 12 per cent slimmer than the MacBook Air, the new MacBook Air holds 13 per cent less space, while delivering more power and the same 3 pounds of power.

The new MacBook Pro will launch in June 2017 at $1,299, a full $300 more than the entry-level MacBook Air. Apple is likely to keep MacBook Air for those who want to enter the Mac eco-system on a smaller scale until new machine pricing drops.

The MacBook Air was last thoroughly upgraded by Apple in 2015, apart from increasing the basic RAM in 2016 and providing a light boost to the low-end CPU in 2017. Apple pushed the basic MacBook Air 1.6GHz to 1.8GHz MacBook Air processors in June 2017 to keep MacBook Air a little longer as an affordable laptop choice.

This is the only MacBook Air modification in recent years. MacBook Air, made from silvery aluminium, has a conical shape that's broader on one side and slimmer on the other. Apple MacBook Air is the only laptop today that the Apple brand is selling that doesn't have a retina screen.

MacBook Air has the highest accumulator lifespan of any Apple laptop, up to 12 hrs when using the Internet and 12 hrs when playing iTunes films. MacBook Air comes with a Thunderbolt 2 connector, two built-in 3D connectors, a MagSafe 2 powered connector, an SD memory cartridge and a 3.5 mm earphone connector.

And other MacBook Air specifications included 802. Wi-Fi 802. MacBook Air features 10ac Wi-Fi, twin mics, hi-fi speaker, and a full-featured, illuminated keypad. Since it has not been significantly upgraded since 2015, the MacBook Air uses Broadwell 8GB 1600MHz HPDDR3 memory and Intel HD Graphics 6000 GPUs. The latest MacBook Air features a 1.8GHz dual-core Intel Intel core 5 CPU with Turbo Boost up to 2.9GHz for both series of configurations.

2. 2GHz Dual-Core Intel core i7 processors with Turbo Boost up to 3. 2GHz are available for Build-to-Order devices at extra cost. MacBook Air features up to 512GB of PCIe-based memory, twice as much as its predecessor, with an SSD test using Black Magic's Disk Speed Test, which achieves an avarage read/write speed of 629.

Two 13-inch MacBook Air Macs are available for purchase: MacBook Air can be bought at the Apple Store, at an Apple site, or at selected Apple Authorized Resellers. Apple has partnered with Phobio, a repurchase firm, to offer a trade-in programme for Macs manufactured in 2009 and later that can earn you up to $2,500 when you buy an appropriate Mac.

The Apple trade-in is easy, but you can often get a better deal if you sell a Mac yourself.
