Best Route around the World

The best route around the world

Route through China and Taiwan. Correct " way... to tour the world - Continental Ever since I began to fly seriously, I wonder in which way I should go around the world, would it be better to fly towards the West, or perhaps towards the east or.

.. waiting, first towards the East and then towards the West? It was my first world voyage to the westwards. "Everyone " seems to have fewer trouble going westwards than going eastwards, so we do it eastwards and eastwards.

Besides, the time is longer and I can go on weekend flights so that I don't miss a working afternoon and... because I am waking up very, very early because of it. Well I' m a good, I'd say a fantastical "airplane sleeper," so since I was sleepy, I spent 9 on an 11-hour one.

That was the only place with 1.5 free day, I think on a Saturday. Fifteen hour later! Meanwhile it was clear that it wouldn't work for me to go westwards, so it was good to try something else: "Lessons Learnt", as more than one would say, so what did we last learned?: When you woke up at 3am, you DO NOT get up until at least 5am.

Meanwhile it was clear that me and the Pacific... we're done. If we don't begin to sell tyres in Hawaii or New Zealand, I won't be crossing that oceans for the next few million years when half of the Pacific will have vanished under the US plate tectonics.

Besides, it's a fact (at least for me) that the best place to relax from jet lag is home. Wherever you come from, somehow your mind knows that home times are "the right" ones, so I had a great (or so I thought) notion. Not a Pacific Ocean + the added recreation of being at home in between.

As you can see from the news coverage, I've just made more timezones than ever before in less and less elapsed times, so....... Back home where I seemed like a wild animal for a few nights, and exactly 4 nights after my arrival in Belgium I went to Malaysia, which happened to be 14, even 14 hrs before Mexico.

One doesn't go halfway around the world to be a sleepwalker at night and a day rambler at night, does one? A few further working sessions later, my brains synchronized with the timezone and just before I was due to go to China, I was again a person. A few sight-seeing tours at the weekends over the cold Shanghai climate allowed me to gather enough power for a proper final inspection before I flew home, where I came a few moments ago.

Well, I haven't found this right way to tour the world by going to our sites, and frankly I don't intend to go around the world again, next turn I will take continents after continents, and if for any reasons I have to do this thing again, then like Phileas Fogg in 80 + 1 day.
