at Davenport Municipal Airport.
On the way to Oshkosh I phoned Carver and Tanner and said that I would arrive before they closed. It provided me with a team van and information about a guesthouse with a team rating. First-class equipment and help from the line boys. When I returned from OSH on Sunday after the air show, I made sure that I stayed at Carver again.
Once again a great sevice and the use of the personnel wagon and the price of the hotels. On Sunday evening new anchoring cables were available. Normally I have a great time with Carver Aero. During a recent visitor (end of July) they had no petrol until the end of my sojourn. There was no self-service and they declined to charge self-service on the tanker.
Cessna 150-152 Fly-In recently paid a call to the Davenport National Wheather Service near the International Airfield. In addition to supplying our group with food and drink for the trip, Carver Aero went further. Burns my pets with many airfields is pilot have nowhere to come out of the wheather when they arrive after work.
Petrol pump is in a different postcode than the FBO transmission about 200 meters from the school. Petrol rates are reasonable, but not inexpensive IMHO. and Carver took good charge of my 172 while I was away. Mannschaftswagen at the disposal, the line company was kind and had the possibility to observe the possibility, the topical chopper of the national guard Chinook with the air work on the fields.
10-15 min after closure and two of their superb crews stayed here to make sure the cabin was dumped into the hanger so we didn't have to fight frosts the next mornings. The Carver Aero is a very kind, small and very contemporary FBO. Superb customer support with our Cherokee 6.
Nice place and good services. Stoped on the way to Chicago because of the bad weather. Mmm. They let me spend the nights in their polite carriage, arrange a room in a local motel, and since the motel they had was part of the necklace where I was staying in the Chicago area, they even had the coordination to call off the first evening of my visit there.
The next day the inclement day had lasted longer than predicted, so I just rented a rental and drove the remainder of the way. The Carver Aero is a great place to stop to refuel or spend the night. Even the cost of petrol is good. You also have an outstanding run and can take over the service division under the direction of Matt.
While I was making a full day trip to the Quad Cities for a full day, I was able to make some service changes (not planned on request) to my aircraft. Carver I commend as the kind of FBO that makes General Aviation so prolific and entertaining.
