BEST 312 and 321 buses run from Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 respectively to the nearest Vile Parle East railway terminal. The 35 shuttle buses connect the aerodrome with Dadar railway terminal. The Bangalore Kempegowda International Airports are located 25 mile from Bangalore. It takes about 50 min by auto or cab.

The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation operates an international airports transportation bus to various places in the capital from the airports. On each of the nine itineraries, there will be at least one regular scheduled bus every 30-minute. The Chennai International Airfield is situated in Tirisulam, 12 km south-west of the centre of the city. Driving time by auto or cab is about 45 min.

As an alternative, Southern Train Services run every 20 to 40 min from early AM to night, lasting approximately 30 min. Outside the terminal there is also a busstop, which is relatively far away from the terminal, where the 18A busstop often goes towards Chennai center, which takes 45min.
