Cornamomum vertum; cinnamon is a seasoning obtained from the inner cortex of the cinnamon bean. It' s name derives from the Hebrew and Arabian word amino, which means "fragrant herb. It is used in both savoury and savoury food and has been appreciated for hundreds of years not only for its exceptional taste but also for its ability to act as an ingredient in food aphrodisiacs.
Zimt has been known for hundreds of years. The Egyptians have used it since 2000 B.C., but the seasoning probably comes from China. My favourite fragrance from Avon was Toccara. I' ve been tried to cut down one from Ebay, but I don't think I want to venture to ruin my odor memory by snuffling it now and find that my memoirs are a little romanticised.
It really has - much of this medical, almost acidic, "antiseptic" variation of the woody, but... it starts with a refreshing touch of tangerine that will stay a few long sessions, then appear a hot scent of baked goods with butterscotch, tonic, vanilla, gingerbread, which reminds me of a mixture of Bois farine by Artisan Parfumeur and Jeu de peau by Serge Lutens with the tangerine touch above.
I' m a little bit of a little gal and couldn't help it! It scents like heaven and on me it didn't stink like most masculine fragrances, I'm in fall for it! Their mother was the Avon woman from the neighbourhood, so 90% of my cupboards were Avon Haha. It' s been years since I smelt it - as a young teenager we knew...the only topical fragrance from present-day perfumery manufacturer Glucci it' s definitely got to be bought.
but the swelling and durability are a laugh. The fragrance and the bottle: 9/10. Everything else: poorly done. Moschus and amber are prominently in this fragrance on me. The fragrance reminded me of how a classic talcum smelled like puder and all.
Gentle patchouli, a whiff of roses, a whiff of sandelwood and a dash of extra vagant oil of pure olive oil, if the latter gives the fragrance a hairdressing atmosphere. Guerlain, as always, doesn't miss when it makes a fragrance. I always loved custard perfumes... before the gourmet boom was in vogue, I always recall being praised for my cute, nutritious, slightly androgynous perfumes... my favorites were and are... - Au Masculin by Lolita Lempicka: Desert like custard fruit... custard icecream with pineapple and....
alces alces - There is some interesting Sociology about the infant aging of females in modern civilization, publicity and commerce. Very often we see it in fragrance merchandising - subtle, or more open like this. Oh, I just adore the colour of the can. Nice fragrances!
