Anthony Tivnan is on the plane with many luxurious travellers when he says: "Flying privately is better than even first-class commercial flights. "Tivnan is chairman and co-owner of Magellan Jet, a Boston-based privately held jet charters group. What kind of plane do you have to go by? "The Jet operator will discuss your schedule, needs, group sizes and luggage with you in detail. That way, you can be sure you'll end up with exactly the right nozzle for your needs," says Tivnan. Flying personal aircraft quicker?

" Privately owned or commercially owned airport?

"If you are getting a better travelling sensation from a personal or business aerodrome, it all comes down to your plans," says Tivnan. Which are the benefits of a privately-owned aerodrome? Which are the benefits of a passenger airfield? It is sometimes nearer your final point, such as Logan in Boston, LaGuardia in New York and Toronto Centre Area.

As a rule, passenger transport to and from passenger terminals is much simpler for air travellers (and whoever is feeding them). You can provide high-end suites or executive amenities, similar to those of hotels, while privately owned airport locations usually have basic departures venues. How will your personal jet seat and seat setup look like? "Tivnan says, almost always jet jets are comfy, comfy armchairs made of cowhide.

Privately-owned jet yachts are usually younger than commercially owned ones. Is there a luggage restriction for privately owned aircraft? "There'?s no luggage restriction on personal jets," says Anthony Tivnan of Magellan Jets. Well, what can you grab when you're flying privately? The safety rules of merchant air transport do not govern. Nearly anything that suits you can be packed or stowed in a personal jet.

However, if you go on aboard, you must discharge it and give it to your cabin crew so that they can store it in the cargo area. Otherwise, the rules of the target countries shall govern domestic animals flown in by domestic aeroplanes. Like with all facets of personal scheduling, ask in ahead. Does your passenger have a say in timetables and routes?

"The timetables for flights by privately owned aircraft are very adaptable within the limits of aviation," says Tivnan. "In consultation with your travel co-ordinator, you can put together your own perfect itinerary. They can stop where they need or want to stop for a meet, an action, a stroll, a dinner, as well as a show, a match, etc.," he says, and adds: "Your jet advisor will let you know if your desired schedule costs you significantly more.

" There is a wide choice of top quality jet catering services available. You can also book flights from a restaurant within the drive area of your departing base.

Aircraft cookery can be confined to warming up, so crockery that travels well is usually best. Privatjets almost always have a full cocktail counter, as well as a snack and Softdrinks. "Tivnan remarks, "The larger the jet, the larger the pub. Lots of travellers take their favourite bulkhead or drink with them. How is the conversation on personal jetliners?
