Please consider your wishes, e.g. a mini van for a large number of persons (max. 8 persons) when making your reservation. Prebookings for Friday - Saturday and Saturday - Sunday transporters must be made by 21.00 of the foreday. As well as ordering a taxi from the centre of Lähitaksi, you can also call the closest taxi stand and order the vehicle to the desired adress.
If you call the taxi number 1066xxx, you need the prefix 09 before the number. The number of mobile phones abroad is +358 9 1066xxx. Telephone numbers to the taxi stands can be found here as "Taksiasemat". When there are no taxi available at the taxi stand, the call is redirected to an available taxi nearby.
In case there are no taxi available in the vicinity, the call is forwarded to Lähitaksi-Center. In case of cancellations, the rider has the right to invoice the entry fees. Please cancel your reservation one or more hours before your sailing date.

The Helsinki Municipality has a well functioning HSL system comprising buses, streetcars, metros, trains and ferries. You can board Suomenlinna by streetcar, coach, metro or even boat with a simple fare. Individual complimentary travel passes can be bought at vending terminals, retail outlets and other HSL outlets or via the HSL portable app.
You can also buy your tickets from the drivers in busses. Day tickets are available for 1-7 nights for unrestricted use on local transport. You can buy them at vending terminals, at the Tourist Information at Helsinki Airport Terminal 2A (1-3 days) or at the Helsinki City Transport Point at Helsinki Central Station.
There is also a daily pass available from the driver. Local fares allow the cardholder to move free in Helsinki, Espoo, Kauniainen and Vantaa. For example, you can buy local airline fares and local tourism fares at vending terminals. The Helsinki Card allows cardholders to use free transport within the town.
The Helsinki Region Travel Service provides local and regional transportation between Helsinki International Airports and the Helsinki area. Furthermore, many long-distance busses stop at the airports.
