The Elvis Presley personal plane is for sale... "as seen".

For an old Lockheed Jetstar once belonging to the King of Rock and Roll? Elvis Presley previously held one of the jets, which is now up for bid. It is currently in a cemetery in Roswell, New Mexico, where it has been stored for more than 35 years.

This 56 year old airplane still needs some work, not restored and unchanged since it last belonged to Elvis. Elvis accents feature golden coloured jewellery, individual wooden work and inserts, carpeted carpets and satin seating in colour scheme. Nevertheless, the airplane is the only Elvis three-airplane flying private property. According to IronPlanet's bidding site, the other two are in possession of the Graceland manor in Memphis.

It' s not clear what the plane could bring, but Robb Report Magazin, which concentrates on luxurious items such as automobiles, boats and jets, is offering this take: "(T)he present owners only last year purchased the plane for $430,000, far below its initial multimillion estimated, so it can go even less this year.

It is not clear what one would do with the aircraft - it would have to be dismantled and shipped somewhere - although it could possibly make a million if fully restored."
