SriLankan Airline's on-line check-in is available between 24 and 2 hrs prior to your flight date. Approval for use in economy classes is subject to a 30 kg max. limitation in terms of weights. Two bags with a 23 kg max restriction each are permitted on services to and from North and South America.

Entering your car in our buisness category is subject to a 40 kg max. limitation. Two bags with a 32 kg max restriction each are permitted on services to and from North and South America. Small children are given a free checked baggage allowance of up to 10 kg. Every person in Economie is permitted one item of hand hold equipment with a 7 kg max. limitation in baggages.

Every Business Classic traveller is permitted two hand baggage items with a 7 kg max. load each.

Which are air kilometres? Cumulation rates shall be amended from 1 May 2018 (date of departure). To earn JMB points, your JMB member number must be 9 digits*1 at the time of booking or check-in. In addition, all JMB member ticket must be in the name of the JMB member. The number of kilometres flown is calculated on the basis of the number of sector-kilometres declared for the routes covered and the level of accumulated value of the ticket bought.

Calculation of official miles is done on the basis of IATA TPM (International Air Transport Association Ticketed Point Mileage). In July and January of next year, the running performance will be reviewed on the basis of the IATA TPM published in the springs and fall of the year before. Inclusive travel prices are entitled to earn miles if purchased in any of the above reservation categories.

Whatever tariff you pay for, a ticket is not eligible for miles if it is purchased in a category not mentioned above. For some tariffs, the accumulated data may differ from the above rates.
