Uber Taxi Online

About Taxi Online

About Taxi Montreal (GPS-based driver service and app) Montreal took taxi by storm in November 2013, when the San Francisco-based tech start-up established a foothold in the town, a year after opening shops in Toronto and Vancouver, with a considerable amount of fanship, albeit of a bad kind. About taxi: About taxi is not a taxi company per se. It does not hire taxi operators or have its own vehicle population. About Taxi, what it does is link your chauffeur to your clients via a smart phone GPS-based application. Using a straightforward "e-hail", a traveller informs Uber as soon as he wants a taxi.

Then the system responds to the passengers and indicates when they can count on the arrival of a taxi, along with the driver's name, full details of contacts, GPS position and instant service.

Payments with Uber are made by means of your bank account, whereby the information is obtained from the online client account. A tip is added to the invoice automaticly - the tip is between 10% and 30% of the ticket price and is pre-selected by the client in his Uber Profiles preferences - and a confirmation is sent by e-mail in Real State.

After all, the client can then evaluate the driver's performances. I' m glad that Uber Taxi will share chauffeur information with the client as soon as the shipment is approved. That increases security for the drivers and the customers as nobody is anonym. Even if I would leave my valuable things in a driver's cabin, it is much simpler to find out about everything with Uber because I know who my chauffeur is and can directly get in touch with him.

After all, as a native who has seen their just proportion of taxi drivers in the harsh Montreal winters, it's great that Uber provides its clients with real-time update, not to speak of an text messaging that signals the taxi's arrivals at its final destinations. Another hint about my client service: When I was mistakenly charged for a taxi ride that was actually meant to be free of charge, they fix the problem and refund me within a few mins.

However, I am a little bit frustrated that I have to turn on my smartphone's Global Positioning System (GPS) to ensure a safe journey and protect my personal area. One big plus is how all my travel client information is stored in my account which makes it easy for me to organize my taxi costs when the taxi seasons come over instead of having a stack of receipts that pollute my work.

Sometimes a crossing cost less than a taxi. Whether or not a push in prices is effective due to high levels of consumption and what performance the consumers choose depend on this. For more information, please refer to the Uber Taxi FAQ.
