World North America Pass - Air Travel Forum
The last times I reviewed "over the counter" point-to-point tariffs on practically all US inland lines (a few years ago), they were significantly lower than the "Visit North America" tariffs, which are determined by the route travelled (different "bands" of 0-500 mph, 501-1000, etc.).
As an example, one way from BFS to New York is under $200 on most carriers; if I remember rightly, the equivalent Besuchen NA Pass ticket was nearly $350. Several of your itineraries may be less expensive by road (and even quicker if you count the problems at the airport), e.g. LA to Fresno or Vegas to LA.
And the other problem is that you are paying for each and every industry, so if, say, your journey from Toronto to Phoenix has a switch to, say, Chicago, you would be paying for the entire YYZ (ORD) PHX airfare if you were bought conventional, while the passport would demand that you paid for YYZ ORD and ORD PHX seperately. Concerning the carrier, you would have to travel solely with Oneworld' only member in the United States, America Airlines.
