Through Doctor of credits, many people are reporting to receive 10,000 free Alaska Airlines mileage on their Alaska Airlines account over the week-end.

Alaska Airlines started a new promotional campaign for members of Virgin America's FFP who did NOT have an Alaska Airlines account but were recently allocated one by Alaska Airlines. People on Flyertalk say they have earned 10,000 Alaska Airlines mileage even though they are already members of the airline's airline's frequent flier programmes.

Let us take a look at what is going on today with the Alaska Airlines - Virgin America fusion and what is new. Log into your Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan account to see if you have accrued 10,000 free Alaska Airlines mileage. The Elevate is Virgin America's airline of choice for those who want to fly frequently. It seems there is no model of who has received and who has not received bonuses.

After all, 10,000 Alaska Airlines mileage is enough for a sightseeing tour, a short-haul bus ride (less than 700 miles). Alaska Airlines is doing its best to make the contract known to Virgin America's current clients by concluding the Alaska Airlines Virgin America fusion agreement. People with a Virgin America Elevate account who were NOT a member of the Alaska Airlines Membership Programme recently got an e-mail from Alaska Airlines informing them that an Alaska Airlines account had been opened for them.

Once you have recieved an e-mail, you can collect 10,000 Alaska Airlines mileage OR a $100 rebate on an Alaska Airlines trip. In order to receive the bonuses, you must make your selections by 31 January 2017. Your rebate balance or mileage should appear on your new Alaska Airlines account within 24hrs. As of today, you can assign Virgin America points at a 1:1.3 rate to Alaska Airlines.

Though it is no longer possible to move Virgin America points to Virgin America (and soon Citi ThankYou points), there are still opportunities to collect Virgin America points other than flight. So you can for example continue to move AMEX Membership Rewards Points at a 2:1 rate to Virgin America. You can also collect Virgin America points with the Comenity Bank Virgin America Premium Signature Card and Virgin America Signature Card.

Once you have met the spend requirement, you will receive 10,000 Virgin America points with your Virgin America Standard and 15,000 Virgin America points with your Virgin America Premium. They could turn 10,000 Virgin America points into 13,000 Alaska Airlines 1:1 3 mile. Alaska Airlines would be 19,500 mph.

My guess is that the Comenity Bank Virgin America Premium Signature Card and Virgin America Signature Card will be closed in the near-term. Verify your Alaska Airlines account! A lot of people say they got 10,000 free Alaska Airlines mileage. Getting the mileage or not, it seems coincidental. If, however, you did NOT previously have an Alaska Airlines account but had a Virgin America account, please review your e-mail.

When Alaska Airlines has set up a free account for you, you can collect 10,000 Alaska Airlines mileage OR a $100 rebate. As of today, you can apply Virgin America points to Alaska Airlines at a 1:1. 3 rate. Tell me when you've earned 10,000 free Alaska Airlines mileage!
