The Malaysian Association of Company Secretary (MACS), in order to take as a yardstick the Secretariat Standards published by the Institute of Company Secretary of India (ICSI).
MACS has been endorsed by the Department of Corporate Affairs of the Malaysian Association of Company Secretary (MACS) to adopt the Secretariat Standards published by the Institute of Company Secretary of India (ICSI) as a standard for the establishment of MACS Secretariat Standards. Subject to Section 10 of Section 118 of the Companies Act, 2013, the Secretariat Standards on Meetings of the Board of Directors and the Secretariat Standard on General Meetings shall be adopted by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India with effect from 1 July 2015.
