Boeing 787 Interior
787 Boeing interiorUp to 296 guests can sit in a high-density 3+2+3 (Economy) car with a 36" (91.4 cm) size and 32 " (81.3 cm) size Coach (Economy)itch.
As many as 234 riders can sit in a three-class set-up that uses 61 inches (154.9 cm) of First-class ( 2+2+2 or 1+2+1) space, 39 inches (99 cm) of Business space (2+3+2 or 2+2+2) and 32 inches (81.3 cm) of Coach space (2+4+2). The interior width of the cabin is 547 cm (18 feet) on the arms and has been raised by 2.5 cm compared to the original design.
Boeing 787 Dreamliner's interior width is 38 cm (15 inches) larger than that of the Airbus A330 and Airbus 340, but 13 cm (5 inches) smaller than that of the Airbus A350 800 XWB. 2+4+2 or 3+2+3 seating configurations, the width of the seats is 18. 47 cm (5 in), similar to the Boeing 777.
Two in ( 43.7 cm ), the same as the Boeing 737. An overwhelming number of the airline companies are expecting to choose the 3+3+3+3 configurations of the Dreamliner. Cab window sizes are bigger than others currently used in commercial aviation (27 cm x 47 cm), with a higher height of the eyes so passenger can see the skyline, with automatic electrochromic dim to minimize car dazzle and preserve visibility.
Dreamliner cabins are fitted with LEDs and electronical windows. 3-color cab lights with LEDs are used instead of neon lights, so the plane is completely "bulbless" and has 128 color permutations. An Ethernet-Avionics Full-Duplex Switched Ethernet (AFDX) /RINC 664- variant is used for transmitting Ethernet between the cockpit and the airplane system.
Dashboard is equipped with multi-function LC display units, all equipped with an industrial GUI wide screen tool kit (Cockpit Display System Interfaces to User Systems / ARINC 661). Lockheed Martin Orion will use a glas cabin based on Rockwell Collins' 787 flying decks. As other Boeing planes, the 787 Dreamliner will use a bayonet instead of a side handle as used in Airbus planes.
Inside airspace is raised to the 6000 ft (1800m) height equivalents instead of 8000 ft (2400m) for traditional airplanes. Boeing says this will significantly increase passengers' convenience in a collaborative research project with Oklahoma State University. The use of composite materials (which do not corrode) allows a higher air moisture in the interior of the vehicle.
The cab draft is provided by electric powered blowers that do not use motor exhaust draft. A sophisticated cab climate system ensures better indoor climate quality: The Boeing 787 Home, Boeing 787 Assembly, Boeing 787 Specs, Boeing 787 Order Book and Boeing 787 Historical, We welcome your comment below, is there more we could show, or are there issues you would like to see?
