Time-Place Relationship Combined Service Recommendation on Taxi Trajectory Data

Abstract: Recently, municipal transport managers have come up against a strange paradox that is the empty transport phenomena for taxi riders and the difficulties of taking a taxi for people. By analysing the correlations between passenger boarding and alighting in taxi, we suggest a combined taxi service recommendations scheme to increase taxi driver profit, reveal people' pattern of transport and increase passenger travelling experiences.

In addition, the TLR uses geaussian re-gression and statistic techniques to measure traffic volumes, mean distances travelled and mean travel times in function areas over any given timeframe on week days and weekend, enabling the driver to quickly accommodate more people. Eventually, we compared our suggested models with the auto regressive built-in sliding averages, the background neuro netting, the supporting vice machinery models, and the grace boosted decisions trees using Beijing's actual taxi-GPS data.

Our results show that our optimising taxi service recommendations can be more accurate than others by considering 3D characteristics. Over the past few years, we have more readily captured a large amount of large amounts of information, encompassing travel information, cellular communications information, and sound information, using widespread wireless computer and sensor technology.

This large amount of information contributes to improving people's lives, promoting sustainable economies and the environment through perception, inclusion and analysis[1].
