To continue your trip, you must be at the departure gates at least 20 min before your connection depart. Make sure that you allow enough elapsed travel times, e.g. if you need to pick up your luggage or need extra assistance with transport through the airport. The connection between Heathrow Airport services depends on where you come from and where you fly to.

Following the violet signposts to "Flight Connections", use the Flight Connections busses that take you to your flight departures area. Airport prefers a coach for passengers with limited travel and for passengers with infants or youngsters ( "Special assistance bus"). There are no departures on this coach, so if you need to travel through this area, e.g. to pick up your luggage, please talk to a member of staff at London Airport.

The Heathrow Express is free for the trip between the kiosks. The London Underground is free if you use a Transport for London Oyster ticket. Clients who connect via their terminal 3 now have at their disposal a completely new, bigger system that shortens the time between them. Should you require extra assistance for your trip, e.g. to get to the airport, board the plane or reach your onwards destinations, please let us know via My Bookings at least 48 hrs prior to your trip and we can make arrangements for you with Heathrow Airport.

Schedule more times to reach your onward destination than the suggested minimal connect times, e.g. to leave the plane or to make a shuttle between different terminals: As a rule, if you have to change trains within Terminal 5 (A, B2 or C gates), we can organise an electrical powered bus ride for you.

When you need to change between Terminal 3 and Terminal 5, you can use special flights. Lichfield Suite in Terminal 5 provides extra amenities for those with more serious body or study impairments, such as a height-adjustable adults baby changer, hoists and shower. There are also disabled lavatories and inductive loop areas throughout the airport.

Please go through your pass (and possibly customs) and recheck in as usual for your connection, so please make sure you have enough free travel space. American Airlines Arrivals Lounge is open to: clients traveling in First or Club World, If you have a longer stop between your flights, you can book into one of our Heathrow Airport Hotel locations.

A number of shuttles operate between the nearby Heathrow Airport and your nearest accommodation. Be sure to identify the shuttles you need to take with the hostel you are staying in. When you connect an airport, you must make sure that you have the right documentation to travel to the UK.

The London Heathrow and London Gatwick airport are about 48 km apart. It is recommended that you allow at least 3 lessons when linking these allotments. There is no automatic transfer of your luggage, so please gather all your luggage before you leave Heathrow or Gatwick airport. Travelling directly between Heathrow and Gatwick is best done by National Express Bus.

There are 80 buses a night from Katwick to Katwick, and the trip can take up to an entire hours. The buses come and go from the lower floor outside the arrivals area at the Heathrow international airport. Travelling on another airline's flights, if you fly in or out of the Northern Airline, you can use the North-South Airport shuttles, which run 24 hrs a day in just three minute.

In case you do not have a boarding card, please go to a check-in at South Terminal Zone A to obtain one. Upon arriving, please obey the luggage claim sign. It takes 1 hr - 1.5 hr to get from terminal to terminal, clear your goods and pick up your luggage (if required). AirTrain can be used for transfers between terminals: The system runs between all JFK terminal and railway station facilities connected to New York City Subway and Long Island railroads.

The company is active in both direction around all JFK airport depots. Not included is the walk between the airport and the AirTrain airport itself. The transport around the airport is free of charge. When your connection depart from New York JFK or LaGuardia airport, you can use AirTrain to make other connections or use one of the privately owned shuttles.

What boarding point is my plane leaving from? Regularly inspect the information screen and make sure that you are at the departure gates no later than 20 min before departure to ensure that you do not miss your flights. Stargate information at Heathrow Airport will be available just before the opening of the aircraft.

When your departure is from Airport 5, please note that this airport consists of three buildings: the A Gates central office and two independent satellites (B Gates and C Gates) linked by a rail link. At the A Gates, please hold until your gates are up.

Approximately 20 min. is required to get to the B Gates or C Gates, so please always make sure your screen displays your flights before you leave the central station. The traveller may, however, disembark via "Arrivals" to see you or depart the airport if they have sufficient transfers between departures (more than 6 hrs for Heathrow and Gatwick) and the necessary documents to travel to the UK.

Remember that it is always the traveller's own risk to verify his/her travel documents for each airport/country on his/her route. Upon returning to the airport, the passenger must undergo the normal safety controls, which include a full inspection of his/her carry-on luggage as he/she re-enters the airport.

Liquid and carry-on luggage limitations for this airport applies. How can I keep my pockets? There are no luggage compartments at the airport for safety purposes. Checked luggage service is provided by the excess luggage company at Heathrow and Gatwick and is only available to UK clients, i.e.

Passengers must go through immigration (and possibly customs) and then return for their connection as usual. When you have purchased your connection with another carrier please refer to the carrier where you purchased your connection. How does the fluid I buy at the airport or on the plane affect me? When you buy more than 100 ml of fluid, gel-like or creamy product at a Duty Free Store or on your aircraft, you can take it through customs to your connection provided the item and voucher are secured at the point of sale in a safety panel.

There is no responsibility for any product opened or seized during transport or unloading. Note that any item you purchase at the airport or on the aircraft will be counted towards your carry-on luggage for your next trip.
